Holiday Shop- Our class will visit the Holiday Shop Monday, December 8.  Please check your child's BEE binder for a flyer with details. If your child will be participating, please send them with money or a voucher, tell them where their payment is, and let them know what they can and cannot buy. Students will instinctively want to buy items for themselves, and if that is not part of the plan, please be sure they know that. If you are cleared and would like to help at the Shop, please sign up HERE. 

Benchmark Assessment- Your kindergartener will take an end-of-quarter test that covers the concepts we have learned so far. If you would like to help them study, you can go over letter names and sounds, reading simple words, generating rhyming words, reading sight words, and writing their first and last name independently, attending to capital and lowercase letters. 

Winter Party- The classes will be having a book exchange and cookie decorating event on December 19. HERE is the sign up link for cookie decorating volunteers and donations. You should have already received a flyer with information about the book exchange. If you didn't, please let me know. 

Feel free to send in your child's book exchange item(s) at any time. Don't forget  to attach a filled out to/from tag to the book. 

Minimum Day- December 19 will be a minimum day. Kindergarten dismissal is at 11:30. 

No School- There will be no school December 22-January 5. School resumes January 6. 

Grades/Report Cards- Please check Aeries for up-to-date grades for your kindergarten student. Second quarter report cards will be sent home after the end of the quarter, which is December 19.
