No School- There is no school the week of October 24-28. Enjoy your time off! 

Name Writing Practice- one of your child's quarterly assessments will be to write their first and last name independently, attending to capital and lowercase letter placement. Extra practice at home with this skill will be helpful. 

Thanksgiving Treat- The sign up for our Thanksgiving Treat is full- THANK YOU! You can see the sign up HERE. Non-perishable items can be sent at any time, but please, no later than this Wednesday, November 19. 

Winter Party- The classes will be having a book exchange and cookie decorating event on December 19. You will receive information about the book exchange this week, and HERE is the sign up link for cookie decorating volunteers and donations. 

Book Exchange- Information about our winter book exchange will be sent home in your child's binder. Each student chose a classmate to buy a book for, and that child's name, along with some information about them, is in the BEE binder. Please use that information to buy a book for the exchange- see specific directions on the informational page in the binder. If you have any questions, or are unable to purchase a book, just let me know and I will take care of it.
