Back to School Night- Thank you for coming to Back to School Night. It was nice to see everyone and share about kindergarten at TPS. If you were unable to attend, you can find the information that was distributed HERE. 

Homework- Homework will start this week! Your child has their BEE binder in their backpack Friday, which has the homework packet in it. You can have your child complete the packet however you wish, but the idea behind it is that you have them complete 1 page every night, along with their reading log, and then turn in the packet Friday. Please be sure to sign the reading log and put the packet in the homework pocket of the binder. I will remove and check the packet every Friday and place the following week's packet in the binder. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Meet the Masters Art- We have a monthly art project and need cleared volunteers to help. If you'd like more information on the Meet the Masters program, and would like to sign up to help, please click HERE. 

Picture Day- Picture day is August 25. Students must wear some sort of uniform attire on this day; it can be assembly attire or any combination of approved uniform wear. You will receive information about buying pictures when you receive your child's picture proofs in a few weeks. 

Volunteers needed- Thank you to the parents who signed up to help our class! We would not be able to have reading groups without you and we appreciate you so much. If you signed up, we will contact you separately with details. We are still in need of more help. If you are cleared and willing to help our class, please see the sign ups HERE. 

Volunteering- If you would like to get cleared to help either in the classroom, or on field trips, please see the office for a volunteer packet. The process can take anywhere between a few days, to a few weeks. Our first field trip will be in October, so keep that in mind if you are wanting to chaperone. 

Early Release- Don't forget that every Wednesday is Early Release. Kindergarten dismissal is at 1:30. Traffic and parking can be congested on this day, so please plan ahead.
