The end of the year comes with fun and busyness. Please take a look at the following reminders for the coming weeks. 

No School- There is no school the week of November 24-28. Enjoy your time off! 

Homework Over Break- We sent the homework packet home today, but it will not be due until the Friday after we return from break, December 5. 

Name Writing Practice- one of your child's quarterly assessments will be to write their first and last name independently, attending to capital and lowercase letter placement. Extra practice at home with this skill will be helpful. 

Holiday Shop- Our class will visit the Holiday Shop On December 8. You will receive more information about this activity, but to summarize, the Library will be transformed into a little shop where students can shop for Christmas gifts for their friends/family. Be on the lookout for more information when we return from break. 

Winter Party- The classes will be having a book exchange and cookie decorating event on December 19. HERE is the sign up link for cookie decorating volunteers and donations. You should have already received a flyer with information about the book exchange. If you didn't, please let me know. 

Book exchange- Feel free to send in your child's book exchange item(s) at any time. Please be sure to attach a filled out to/from tag to the book.
