Here are the most important classroom reminders for the coming weeks:

Fun Run- PATS' biggest fundraiser of the year is coming! They are hosting an Obstacle Course Fun Run on September 21, and all proceeds benefit PATS and the amazing things to do for our school community. If we reach our $45,000 fundraising goal, every registered student receives a day pass to Great Wolf Lodge! So don't forget to register! Get Started on MyBooster.com TODAY:

  1) Sign Up

  2) Search for “Temecula Prep”

  3) Create your student’s page

Once you're signed up, share your student's page by email, text, and social media. All parents can come cheer on their runner during the morning of September 21. You don't have to be cleared to be a spectator, but if you'd like to help PATS during the event, you must be cleared.

Fun Run Attire- The Fun Run will be on Monday, September 21, but students do not need to wear assembly attire. We are asking kindergarten students to wear RED athletic wear on this day and comfortable running shoes. Please no leggings.

Information Needed for our Room Parent- Mrs. Santos, Naelani's mom, has agreed to be our room parent! She would like to gather your contact information so she can communicate with you throughout the year. It would be great if you could fill out THIS form for her. A HUGE thank you to Mrs. Santos- we appreciate you!

Water Bottles- We have had quite a few water bottle spills in the classroom lately! Many of the wide-mouth water bottles pour out very quickly when they are accidentally tipped over while open, which can result in quite a bit of water on desks, papers, and the floor. If possible, we would really appreciate students bringing a spill-resistant water bottle with a straw, valve, or similar lid rather than one with a wide-mouth opening. I know water bottles are expensive and many of the students already have the wide mouth bottles. I don't want you to feel obligated to purchase anything new, but if you have alternatives already at home, it would be great if you could send those instead. We appreciate your help in keeping our classroom a little drier!

Snacks- Please be sure to send a snack with your child everyday, even if they get school breakfast and lunch. They are hungry by snack recess time and snacks are not provided by the school. Please be sure your child knows what their snack is and where it is in their backpack.

Bate's Nut Farm- Our first field trip will be to the Bate's Nut Farm Pumpkin Patch! We will be riding the bus to the farm on Thursday, October 29. We will send field trip packets home Friday, September 18, and they are due no later than October 9. Thank you to the parents who signed up to donate a snack or water for our trip. The snack sign up is full, but can be viewed HERE.

Apple Party- Thank you to everyone who signed up to donate towards our apple party! The sign up is full, but for reference, can be found HERE
