Fun Run- Our PATS sponsored Obstacle Course Fun Run this coming Monday, September 21. All parents can come cheer on their runner from 8:30-9:15. You don't have to be cleared to be a spectator, but if you'd like to help PATS during the event, you must be cleared. You can sign up to help PATS HERE.
Fun Run Attire- We are asking kindergarten students to wear RED athletic wear on Monday, September 21, as well as comfortable running shoes. No leggings please.
Spirit Week- Spirit week is this week. The flyer can be found HERE. The cost to participate is $1, which will be collected as your child enters the gate. Friday is FREE.

Thursday- Dress Like Your Favorite Season
Friday- Neon/Patriot Day
Parent Teacher Conferences- We will hold optional Parent Teacher Conferences the week of October 5, to go over your child's report card. If you'd like to conference, please sign up below. If you prefer not to conference, your child's report card will be sent home Friday, October 9.

Water Bottles- We have had quite a few water bottle spills in the classroom lately! Many of the wide-mouth water bottles pour out very quickly when they are accidentally tipped over while open, which can result in quite a bit of water on desks, papers, and the floor. If possible, we would really appreciate students bringing a spill-resistant water bottle with a straw, valve, or similar lid rather than one with a wide-mouth opening. We appreciate your help in keeping our classroom a little drier!
Snacks- Please be sure to send a snack with your child everyday, even if they get school breakfast and lunch. They are hungry by snack recess time and snacks are not provided by the school. Please be sure your child knows what their snack is and where it is in their backpack.
Bate's Nut Farm- Our first field trip will be to the Bate's Nut Farm Pumpkin Patch! We will be riding the bus to the farm on Thursday, October 29. The field trip packets came home today, and they are due no later than October 9. Please and make your field trip donation HERE. Thank you to the parents who signed up to donate a snack or water for our trip. The snack sign up is full, but can be viewed HERE.
Apple Party- Thank you to everyone who signed up to donate towards our apple party! The sign up is full, but for reference, can be found HERE.
Weekly Reminders:
* Return library books every Monday (or Wednesday if Monday is a holiday)
* Early dismissal every Wednesday- k gets out at 1:30
* Patriots day is every Friday and students can wear jeans a school spirit shirt
* Write your child's name on all of their belongings
* Send BEE binders everyday
* Homework packet is due every Friday- don't forget to sign the reading log. Math homework is due daily.
*Assembly attire is required every Monday. Navy shorts, pants, and skorts/skirts are not part of assembly attire.
